An early Christmas present for me. Now available from the Too Fat Lardies is the Dawns & Departures campaign supplement for Sharp Practice.
Just as the revised French in Egypt near the painting finishing line the campaign suppliment lands.
Perfect for the new and improved adventures of Ensign Claude Canard and his Friend and mentor Ensign Côtelettes
de Mouton of the French Sloop "Le Vendeen"
The campaign
handbook provides a number of campaign options which only need a few tweaks for fighting in the Middle East all based around a Narrative Campaign system.
79 pages of Lardy goodness - be given a mission. Make life long friends (and enemies), build your reputation and influence at court and make your fortune.

What more could you ask for in 2017...
Now back to the French....
Merry Christmas all.
Hmmm, this looks interesting but I really need some troops to use it with first!
ReplyDeleteSteve having read through it many of the elements seem transferrable for a number of periods and skirmish rule sets.
DeleteI guess the proof will be over the coming months.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Stu
Well you've obviously been a good boy.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope so Michael.
DeleteAnd a very merry Christmas to you, too!
ReplyDeleteAnd to you Gordon.
DeleteCheers
Stu
Hey Stu, thanks for posting these I missed it!
ReplyDeleteOnce you've read and tried it let us know if it could work with other rules...Song of Drums and Shakos is what I use as I skirmish with a lot less figures.
Oh and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I think it many of the elements Captain are pretty rule agnostic certainly if you are working through a narrative type campaign.
DeleteMore over the coming weeks.
Cheers
Stu
Will watch with interest 😀
