Elizabethan Zombie Wars - FAIR GREEN TRAINED BAND - Elizabethan Pike Block.

These fine fellows have been languishing in the draw for over 8 years, it's taken a global pandemic but they have finally make it to the paint table.

Another unit for the English faction and something else from the slowly shrinking lead pile.

I almost fell off the wagon and painted something other than Elizabethan's this week. I must suppress the butterfly urge and remain focused and clear down the Elizabethan's and  other fantasy elements before anything else hits the table.

All figures by Wargames Foundry.

The Fair Green Trained Band are lightly armoured but are keen to defend their village from Spaniard and undead alike. They have a mix of head gear and clothing which suits the feel of the games taken on so far.

A useful addition to the English ranks and will be suitable for the Plantation of Ireland games although I am a little light on Irish Matchlock men.

Another unit to watch out for in the forthcoming games if only as the pikes are flaming sharp.

Next up the last of the English.... What is going on...... a third project complete......

I am in danger of painting stuff that has not had the chance to cultivate in a draw for 2 years :-)

  1. Very nice addition to the Elizabethan collection Stu. With all these projects nearing completion, you will have to start planning for new projects and figure purchases post the Covid lockdown!

  5. A new phrase ‘pandemic productivity’ just don’t stop........ I do have some zombies which I should get out and paint but that would definately be a distraction...
