It's been - well let's just say a few years (Before I started this blog... wow) that the Westrn Gunfighters have graced the table. But tomorrow see's the Wolves of Guadalupe ride into the town of Dead Mans Gulch.
Back in 2004 when Warhammer Historical was pushing out rule sets Mark Latham created Legends of the Old West. Players had $200 to recruit and outfit a posse made up of 5-8 members a fine set of skirmish rules and perfect for multi-player action.
Let's see who is still standing tomorrow once the gun smoke clears.
WOW that brings back memories! Enjoy the nostalgia!
ReplyDeleteI've got the rules, unfortunately I've never played them!
ReplyDeleteUsed to have these rules too!
ReplyDeleteI used to play those a lot. I use Fistful of Lead: Reloaded now, which is a much better system.
ReplyDeleteIs it really that long ago that they came out!? I remember them having a period of popularity at my old club; ditto Legends of the High Seas. But as was typical of the club, another set of rules would come along 3-6 months later and they would be forgotten about. Anyway, look forward to seeing your AAR.
ReplyDeleteThey look cool. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteNice looking figures - look forward to reading the report....of course, if "they" had built the wall, Dirty Sanchez would be on the other side of the border!
ReplyDeleteThat should be seriously good fun.
